The good folks over at Do512 have a little contest going on that I think you all might be interested in, especially if you live in Austin. Here’s the deal: make one of their embeddable calendars (just like the one we have on the lower right hand side of our page) and embed it in a blog, Myspace, Facebook or any other internet site that you own and you get the chance to, here’s the good part, win tickets for you and a +1 to every show at Emo’s, The Parish, Antone’s, Flamingo Cantina, Beerland, Beauty Bar and Threadgill’s for the entire month of August. I know, holy shit.
Here’s what you do. Go to http://do512.com/VIP, login or register for an account with Do512, make your calendar, tell ‘em which shows you’re going to, post it on your internet, and then go to a ton of free shows next month. Trust me, it’s easy.
