The Music We Post

Most all the music we post has been cleared for you to download freely. Any music that hasn’t been specifically cleared by the artist or a representative of the artist is not archived on our servers for longer than two weeks. That being said, if you are an artist or represent an artist whose music is hosted on our site and wish for it to be taken down, please send us an email (biginfo [at] bigdiction.net) and we will do so promptly.

The Words We Write

All text in any of our posts, both current and archived, is under a Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 license. That means you can re-post, quote, or absorb our clever insults into your own repertoire, provided you link to either a) the page you are copying/quoting from, or b) our homepage (http://bigdiction.net). For non-internet copying/quoting, please cite the author and “BigDiction.net” as the source. Any specific questions can be directed to the editor via email (biginfo [at] bigdiction.net).

The Pictures We Take/Draw

We’re not known for our pictures or drawings here at Big Diction, but if you’re interested in using some of our originals for your own works, please get in contact with us first (biginfo [at] bigdiction.net). This does not include any press images (i.e. album covers) included in posts, which are the property of their respective owner.

The main banner and “icon” in the About box in the upper-right corner of the homepage do not require permission. Links to these images are included below (right-click -> save to download).
